Quakerwood PhotoThe Quakerwood is a really good community pub in a quiet suburb of York.  Situated in the centre of a private housing estate we cater for regulars and newcomers with a range of drinks, food and entertainment.  Since late 2004 we have offered a Two For One menu, with a superb selection of wholesome dishes available from a main menu.  Fully refurbished in October 2005, the pub is huge and all one room.  This is split into a raised food area with a bar area with big screen.  We are popular for showing sport on the screen which can be enjoyed over a pint amongst friends.  Our mix of ages creates a good family and sports atmosphere.  Outside there is a well maintained beer garden as well as a play area for the children.  This has a good range of equipment.  Whether you join the throng on Sunday for our delicious roast, relax during the week with a pint or bring your friends to watch a game, The Quakerwood's staff will ensure you have a great time.
