The Londesborough Hotel, situated in the market town of
Selby, underwent major changes in December 2005. The downstairs area
benefited from a full refurbishment, the bar has been extended
with the old restaurant now part of the bar area and reception for the
hotel has been moved. We aim to cater for everyone's needs from 18
- 80 years. We still offer a great range of drinks and quality food,
served until 8pm every day.
Our function / meeting rooms are popular for business meetings and
ideal for christenings or weddings. As well as food and drink we
have 24 quality bedrooms all but one are en-suite. These are traditional rooms
designed to a Laura Ashley style, which creates a warm and cosy
atmosphere. The building is a 15th Century Coaching house which
has retained a traditional feel. Quite a contrast to the very modern Kans Nightclub next door. With its DJ, it
is ideal for young people at the weekends, from 18 to 35 and attracts older
customers on Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays. During the
summertime the large beer garden is a must for anyone wanting to enjoy a
relaxing drink al fresco.
