Lendal Cellars
is a traditional cellar bar dating back to the 18th
Century and formerly the Lord Mayors wine cellar,
located in the beautiful historic city of York.
We had a refurbishment in winter 2009. It has
a welcoming atmosphere and is a popular venue for
locals and visitors / tourists. Our main menu
is available daily including breakfast or simply
cake and coffee as well as a wide range of lagers,
beers and wines are available to accompany your meal
or enjoy alone. Customers who enjoy a great pint
will like the choice of Greene King ales plus
rotating guest real ales we offer. Why not
finish off your meal with a speciality coffee such
as cappuccino, espresso or a delicious liqueur.
There is also an outdoor seating area to enjoy
during the warmer weather. We are able to
cater for all special occasions with room for up to
200 guests and all enquiries are welcome. If
you are joining us for a drink or a bite to eat, we
