 The
Crown's philosophy is to offer an excellent place to
watch sport and play pool whilst at the same time being an attractive venue for
women. Originally a row of terraced houses and shops built in 1875
and converted to licensed premises with accommodation in the 1920's.
This old pub at the end of Knaresborough High Street is
decorated in bright colours, and a great time is always can always be had.
We have comfortable surroundings and are relaxed during the daytime and family friendly until early
evening. When the evenings come the fun begins, attracting many
young people to this lively and exciting venue. The pub is somewhere
to bring everyone because of the way it is laid out. The Crown has a single
room divided into a locals area, a dining section and a sports
area. The locals area is quieter and more peaceful with leather
settees and an environment to make easy conversation. The sports bar
is where everything happens from the weekly entertainment, sport shown on
the numerous screens or pool being played. Our zero tolerance of any
trouble ensures this is a venue in which women feel safe either on their
own or with a group. Our friendly staff and regulars look forward to
