Since Jane & Mac took over
the running of the Red Lion Inn
they have made and are still making changes.
The dining room walls have been taken back to the
original stonework and new furnishings and a cosy log burner have been
installed. Food
is served from an extensive A la Carte menu with children's menu available.
Food is very popular with visitors and locals alike, having built up a good
reputation for the food served we are always first choice. Another terrific feature is the beer garden and decked area to the back of
the pub which has spectacular views of the estuary - a great choice for al fresco
dining or a drink on warmer days. The cosy traditional bar area has an
open fire which is very welcoming on cold winter days. We have a choice
of usually 4 cask ales and a good selection of draught beers, bottled beers
and soft drinks. Our recently refurbished accommodation rooms have a
traditional styling with modern touches, offering a comfortable
nights stay. Located in the small seaside town of Alnmouth, the Red
Lion Inn has much to offer, including a friendly
welcome from a great team of staff. We look
