The Brewers Arms is located on the main street in the historic
town of Berwick. The front of the building has arched windows and is
listed. The pub used to be known as the Heavy Battery after an army base
of the past. Today, having had a sparkle in Spring 2004, it is a
traditional style venue, freshly painted with new carpets. The open plan layout
has new plasma screens. The biggest thing here is Sport so we are particularly busy
when major matches are being televised.
During the day shoppers, regulars, business people and tourists come for a
relaxed meal chosen from our main menu and specials board or for just a drink with
friends. The mood becomes more lively in the evenings helped by
our weekly quiz and monthly entertainment, usually a singer. Come
along soon to this trouble free, female friendly venue where people of all ages
are welcomed by the helpful team.
