This is a food orientated traditional country inn located in a small up market village.  You will find us next to an exclusive lady's shop.  The Black Bull is a popular stopping off point for the many visitors who travel up to nearby Hadrian's Wall.  Our reputation for food draws people from far and wide.  They come to sample the excellent homemade meals which can be found in our varied menu.  Roses around the door welcome you and inside there is an olde worlde atmosphere with real log fires.  We cater for bus tours and individuals who are just passing through.  You will never be disappointed with the service you receive at the Black Bull.
