ANGLER'S ARMS DINING EXPERIENCE
When you visit the Angler's Arms you will find out
why everyone is talking about us in the North East of England.
We offer meals to the highest standards cooked especially for you
by some of the best Master Chefs in the country. Our
restaurant is housed in a Pullman Railway carriage which
provides an intimate and unusual experience. Silver service
is standard. You may prefer to enjoy a meal in the convivial
surroundings of the bar area. You will notice immediately the
friendly ambience that is almost tangible. |

 In the heart of magnificent rural
Northumberland off the A697, only six miles north of Morpeth, you will
find the
Anglers Arms.
This truly traditional 1760's Coaching Inn
is a family run country venue
nestling on the banks of
the River Coquet beside the picturesque Weldon Bridge.
Inside is full of nice little touches and quaint bric-a-brac with the walls
covered in pictures and fishing memorabilia and open log fires for winter
comfort.
From the moment you walk through
the door you will be impressed by the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. With a wealth of
history and reputation behind it this inn is full of character and
surprises.
Food here is very special. The popular bar meals are "English Country
Inn" at its very best or you can dine in style and sophistication in the
Pullman railway carriage restaurant.
This is the perfect base for walking in the Cheviot Hills or on
the sandy beaches like Warkworth or Bamburgh and visiting the famous
Northumberland Castles. Alternatively you can play golf at several
local courses or fish on our own private one mile stretch of river.
Weddings and other family or business functions are catered for in our
spacious function room and with our wedding licence, you can even hold your
wedding ceremony in the Inn.
