Ben Nevis
is ideally located on the main
street in the famous Highland town of Fort William. This is the
oldest pub in the town, being built in 1806 and was the inn for the
castle drovers. We re-opened with a new contemporary look
following a refurbishment in March 2008. There are two bars on the ground floor and a 100
cover restaurant upstairs. With modern decor, new furniture, fixtures,
fittings & comfy seating this is a great place to relax. Take in
the views outside & enjoy a drink on the new decked area which overlooks
the loch. We have a regular core of local
customers who live in the town and mingle with the tourists and walkers who
come, generally during the summer months. Food is served every day
from a popular menu which always includes traditional haggis, neeps and
tatties. This ensures that we seem to be the busiest place in
town! Be sure to visit this friendly, welcoming trouble free bar
next time you visit this idyllic part of the country and enjoy a meal and
a
pint. You are sure to have a
memorable time. |
