On the edge of Nottingham city centre, directly behind
Queens Hospital, is a historic building which used to be a prison for
bad debtors in the 1800's. Now, however, the modern White
Hart offers you somewhere to eat, meet
up and have a chat with a few friends, or come for a
quiet drink and soak up the atmosphere. You will find the White Hart
warm, welcoming, trouble free and female friendly. We are part of
the Nottingham Pub Watch scheme which means regular checks to
ensure we maintain a trouble free venue. This is a popular food
house serving traditional pub meals which are available daily from an
extensive main menu and specials board and even a value for money menu
at selected times. You can feast on such mouth-watering dishes, as our minted lamb shank, Kimberley ale & steak pie, rump
/ gammon steak or a lighter bite such as our chicken baguette. On Sundays we have
our delicious traditional Sunday lunches available alongside the usual menus. There is an extensive bar with
plenty of lagers, beers and three real ales to choose from as well as a range of
wines. An ideal accompaniment to any
meal. Lunchtimes and early
evenings are busy with white collar workers who choose to spend their
