REFURBISHMENT |
We re-opened in late Autumn
2011 as a Hungry Horse venue following a major refurbishment. There is a totally new look and some great new features
such as TVs in the booth seating. We also have added a beer
garden with new furniture. Our speciality Illy coffee is also popular
which can be enjoyed on our sofas. Come along and see the changes for yourself. |

Built in the 1960's,
The
Wheelhouse is situated opposite Wollaton Hall. This is a major
tourist attraction with a Deer Park set in 2000 acres of land. We re-opened in late Autumn 2011 following a
major refurbishment and change of concept to a Hungry Horse venue. We have great features such as TVs in the booth seating
for more intimate or sociable dining. We serve food from the extensive
Hungry Horse menu and children's menu.
The
pub has a traditional friendly atmosphere attracting locals and regulars
from the surrounding affluent areas, as well as visitors
to the Hall who call in to enjoy a meal or a drink as part of their day
out. At the bar you will find a number of favourite pints including
the best of Greene King real ales. If you prefer something
non alcoholic we have an excellent range of speciality coffees along with
tea and soft drinks. These can be enjoyed on our comfy sofas or
anywhere in the pub. There is a large beer garden where you can sit and relax on
warm days in Summer. This is a friendly venue where all are welcome, including children, so why not drop in and give us a try? |
