The Wheatsheaf is located in the quaint village of Burton
Joyce on the outskirts of Nottingham. Beautifully presented with hanging
baskets all around in the summer, this destination food house is a 'must try'
venue next time you are in the area. Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ high quality Chefs who have
superb kitchen facilities. The food can be chosen from a main menu
or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs to show
their flair! You will be served meals which have been prepared
from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. We
generally have a number of particularly interesting fish dishes on offer. To complement your meal there is an
extensive choice of quality wines. For the real ale Connoisseurs amongst you we have a fantastic
selection to choose from and this is possibly why we attract a good base of regular
locals who pop in for a pint most nights of the week. The staff here help
to make this a very warm, welcoming venue. They are helpful, friendly, conscientious
and, with most of them coming from close by, seem to know instinctively
what is required. Three quarters of the pub is non smoking for your
comfort and during the summer months you are welcome to dine al fresco.
Once you have tried us you are sure to want to return! See you soon.
