| REFURBISHMENT | We re-opened in Spring 2010 following a full refurbishment to offer customers a lighter, brighter look. Outside was repainted as well as new furniture. We also started offering more cask ales. |

Our mouth-watering new Autumn Winter menu offers a range of your favourite Chef & Brewer dishes. We also have a great selection of new dishes - so whether it's a platter to share with friends, a delicious starter or a classic main course, we have something to suit everyone! Try our new range of delicious platters, including our impressive Chef & Brewer platter or perhaps choose one of the Chef & Brewer favourites, including the Winter Pie Platter and scallops and black pudding.  The Travellers Rest is situated close to Nottingham town centre in a rural, picturesque setting with superb views of the town. In the late 18th Century this used to be a halfway house for geese herders who were on their way to the Goose Fair. Today it is an open plan venue with three open fires lit throughout the winter months. Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ high quality Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities. The food can be chosen from a main menu or unique Specials from the chalk boards which allow our Chefs to show their flair! You will be served meals which have been prepared from the freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. The chef's speciality is fresh fish dishes. To complement your meal there is an extensive choice of quality wines or real ales and other drinks are available at the bar. We pride ourselves on offering excellent customer service.
