The Old Spot is a really old former Coaching Inn with a large bar and restaurant which since a redecoration has become light and airy with a fresh looking appearance of pastel shades complemented by wooden beams.  We have several sections to the pub including a raised area, lower area, main dining area and 'saddlery'.  The saddlery, which was the original part of the pub where horses where tethered to, still retains one of the original gates.  This still opens and closes!  There is plenty of space for dining which creates a good environment when enjoying your meal.  The bar area, with it's low coffee tables and chairs, lends itself to the place for a drink or something to eat.  We are very popular for breakfast, offering both light and full English.  The Premier Inn next door ensures there are always many people in at this time.  Since our change of concept in 2011, food at other times is available from the extensive Fayre & Square menu.  We are recognised for our service and quality of food which attracts a wide mix of customers from families to passing workers.  We are particularly popular with families during the school holidays and cater for many wedding parties in the summer months. Just five minutes outside Nottingham town centre on the A60, head towards Nottingham and we are on that road.  There is a lovely little church over the road to which you can hear the bells on a Friday. Locally there is Sherwood Forest, only ten minutes away and White Post Farm where you can feed the animals.  With their children's soft play area why not have a day out with the children there and then come along for a spot of dinner with us afterwards.  We have a young professional team ready to serve you.
