 Ideally located about 4 miles from both Nottingham
and Southwell Racecourses in Lowdham village, The Magna
Charta awaits you. Refurbished in
August 2007, this old Coaching
House has retained it's traditional look with features such as
beautiful oak beams. There
is a genuinely warm and friendly atmosphere and everyone including
families are made to feel welcome here. A popular venue for food
we serve delicious traditional pub meals from our main menu and Specials
board which incorporates mouth-watering homemade dishes. Sunday lunch is not to be missed and it's certainly not
worth cooking at home when you can come to the Magna Charta and enjoy a
traditional lunch with a choice of three meats and fresh
vegetables. Families are well catered for
with children able to keep themselves amused in the large outdoor play area
whilst
you relax and enjoy the sunshine in our beer garden with its 100 seats. There is also a baby changing facility and
children even have their own toilet. For the sports fans amongst you, we have
Sky Sports so an
important game can be enjoyed whilst having a drink. Everyone is catered for at
the Magna Charta and you will always receive a warm welcome from
friendly, helpful staff.
