The Fox is to be found on the Ring Road in
Basford, a suburb of
Nottingham. This attractive, clean, nicely presented pub has separate bar
and lounge areas. Being very popular for Sport, all major matches are
shown on the big screens around the bar, leaving the lounge a quieter area to
have a good conversation. As well as the regulars we have a good number of
passers by, many of whom come for their lunchtime break to enjoy a meal or drink with friends. The younger clientele tend to gravitate to the bar
while the slightly older ones find the lounge more to their liking. The
food is available all day until late evening and can be eaten anywhere in the pub.
Our Sunday lunches are a particular favourite with prices which will not
burn a hole in your pocket. The general feeling of customers old and
new is the pleasure in finding such a friendly pub with a trouble free atmosphere. The Fox
must be worth a try.
