Fox & Crown is a nice
traditional pub situated on a very busy crossroads near local schools and a
hospital. More of a social pub than a circuit one, half our customers are regulars
mixing well with the passing trade. The open plan layout allows for
people to dine anywhere in the pub, although they tend to favour the area
away from the bar. Our pub food is very popular with many coming for
their lunch or early evening meal with us. The atmosphere is relaxed,
welcoming and trouble free, providing a break from a busy schedule.
There are two big screens to show all the main matches and the Fox is one of
the best known sporting venues in Mansfield. People tend not to use it as a dining pub when
the major matches are being televised. During the summer there is a beer
garden so that you can enjoy the warm weather. This has a small area with a slide and swings on a
tree to keep the children amused. The helpful team look
forward to seeing you soon.
