The Bold Forester,
800 yards from the start of the A38 Sutton Road in Mansfield, is the largest real
ale house in the county! There is no excuse not to call with a
huge car park, a bus stop right outside and a railway station five minutes
away. The pub was built in 1998 and despite being a relatively young venue
there is a traditional feel about the place with its separate dining area and
traditional wooden furniture. We hold the Cask Marque status, ensuring all
beers are top quality and have up to 20 different ales available in a week,
attracting all age groups. Two
festivals are held here each year, the largest on St Georges Day which is a week
long event with activities happening all the time. Food and Sport are also
popular but the main attraction is music with live bands playing each
weekend. Having so much on offer there is something for everyone, so
Neil, Barbara and their friendly team look forward to seeing new faces very
soon.
