The village of Gunthorpe is situated beside the River Trent.  On the main street you cannot miss the attractive, traditional cream building which is the Anchor Inn, only a few yards from the river.  This very friendly village pub welcomes everyone and is particularly popular during the summer months as there is a really sizeable beer garden.  This gives space for the children to have a run around and there is also a purpose built play area to one end.  Inside you will find a bar, lounge, indoor play area and large dining area.  We serve food from a main menu and Specials board and this can be eaten anywhere in the pub, but not outside.  For that special birthday or anniversary our Function Room can accommodate about 130 people so don’t hesitate to ring for further details.
