freshly prepared in-house and cooked to order using as much
locally sourced produce as possible. Our bespoke menu changes on
a daily basis, always offering a range of fresh fish dishes. Our

 Penhelig Arms Hotel is an 18th Century Inn
which has a coastal location in Aberdovey.
Step out of the front door and the estuary is across the
road about 20 meters away! There are several golf courses in the area,
attractive
beaches and hill walking for the energetic. The Fisherman's Bar is located in a self contained part of the building,
where local regulars and visitors come to enjoy a quiet drink and a chat or just watch the world
go by with a beautiful coal fire, a welcoming sight in the colder weather.
No TVs or music makes for a pleasant environment for all to enjoy.
The restaurant of about 40 covers has a fresh look and informal atmosphere. Food is highly commended with many mentions in
the leading food guides. Known for our high standards, all our
food is freshly prepared in-house using ingredients which are locally sourced
wherever possible. We specialise in fresh fish dishes. Menus are changed
daily depending on what ingredients are available. Accommodation
comprises of
four en suite rooms and a separate two storey house. A friendly welcome
awaits all who come to visit us in this beautiful part of Wales.
