Recommended Landlord’s Favourites:
Lincolnshire Bangers and Mash, Hand Battered Fish and Chips and Hand Pressed Gourmet Burgers. 

New Summer Dishes:

Try our Summer Salad selection or a big bowl of steaming Mussels.
Or perhaps the Italian Chicken Escalopes, Porcini Ravioli or Pan Seared Salmon Fillet. 

From our New Wine Menu:

Rose Wines:
Tenterden Estate Rose, from the Garden of England or Prosecco Raboso Rose, great with Rhubarb Crumble.
White Wines:

Landlord recommended Sauvignon Blanc and Petit Chablis.

Red Wines:

Beaujolais Petis Fruts Rouges, a great summer red and Shiraz, Madfish, perfect with our juicy Rump Steak.

REFURBISHMENT

We re-opened following a full refurbishment in January 2008. Come along and see our new Contemporary look with feature bar.

 

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT

Simon & Laura welcome customers old and new to the Halfway House. They have made many changes such as a new menu, food served all day, every day and new entertainment.

Halfway House PhotoThe Halfway House is situated on the quayside at Golftyn, Connahs Quay. It has been fully refurbished in January 2008 with a new contemporary look yet with new decor, leather seating & warming colours we have kept a homely feel still.  The pub is now open plan with feature bar in the centre.  Outside there is a beer garden with tables, Jumbrealla's and heaters.  There is also a play area to keep our younger visitors entertained. This friendly, trouble free pub is the centre of the community and welcomes everyone.  We are well known locally for the food we serve which is both of good quality and value for money.  There is a varied selections of dishes to suit everyone's' taste.  You can dine in the restaurant or anywhere in the pub.  Be sure to call in next time you are close by and have a meal or enjoy a quality pint with us.  The friendly team will make you feel very welcome.
