Dovey Inn was built in the 17^th Century and was previously known as the Ship where sailors used to sit outside and drink.  Located in the centre of the picturesque costal town of Aberdovey on the Dovey Estuary this black and white building lies just across the road from the marina, fifteen yards from the sea, offering spectacular views of the mountains and hills behind.  Along with the local regulars our visitors include many walkers.  There is a links golf course five minutes drive away in Aberdovey with a further three courses nearby.  Aberystwyth is a forty minute drive from here.  As well as being a popular pub and dining house, we offer letting rooms, eight of which have a sea view.  There are three luxury rooms which have been recently added on and one of these has a fantastic free standing stone bath as a main feature!   There is something for everyone here.  Inside has three bars.  One is a modern Sports bar where we screen all important matches and events.  There is a traditional style bar and the back bar is a wine bar style which is also used as a function room.  All are tastefully decorated and there is free wi-fi access throughout the pub and hotel.  We serve food throughout the pub, with a range of dishes which change regularly.  All food is freshly prepared in-house and sourced locally whenever possible.  Be sure to call in when you're down this way and enjoy the company of this friendly venue.
