The
Black Horse is a typical locals pub set on the edge of
Penycae within walking distance of the lakes and reservoirs. The panorama
includes magnificent views over Llangollen and Castle
Dinas Brian. The mountains which are 3 to 4 miles away
are well known by nature lovers, hikers and mountain
bike riders, with views spreading over Chester, Wrexham
and beyond. The pub offers a range of the best draught beers, bottled
products and tasty food is available at lunchtime and in the
evenings. Children are welcome and with full disabled facilities
we are ideal for everyone. Malcolm and Emma have taken
over as the licensees and always give newcomers and regulars a very
warm welcome. Come and enjoy this family run pub with its friendly atmosphere.
