 Afon Conwy is
located in a rural area at Glan Conwy Corner and, as
this is the only pub for quite a way we are a very popular destination food
pub. We are often used as a base for those going off to explorer the
mountains as well as being a popular attraction for families having both an indoor
Fun Factory and an outdoor play area. This Brewers Fayre is only three miles from Llandudno,
the largest resort in Wales having two
wonderful beaches, the award winning North Shore and the quiet, sand-duned
West Shore, so we attract plenty of day trippers and holiday makers.
Other local attractions include Conwy Castle, at least three golf courses
and a cinema. Our clientele include the regular locals from the residential area a
short walk away who pop in for a drink and visitors from the local hospital
for which we raise money annually to buy children's Christmas presents. The pub itself is fairly new in age and has
ample car
parking. Outside there are fifteen tables in the beer garden for al fresco dining.
Inside is open plan with a decor of warm colours with exposed brickwork.
For dining we try to seat
the adults in a quieter area.
Quality Brewers Fayre food is served at a reasonable price from an extensive
menu and the children's menu has appetizing choices for our younger visitors.
