'CLASSIC CARVERY' DINING AT OUR PUB

We think variety is the spice of life, so we work closely with our butcher to bring you a great selection of prime meats all roasted to perfection.

Today�s roasted meats will be usually a choice of 3 of the following:
Outdoor bred British gammon, Matured Saxon British beef, Stuffed belly pork, Norfolk turkey & West Country shoulder of lamb. All served with a Yorkshire pudding, chipolata and stuffing, accompanied by your choice of freshly prepared vegetables and topped off with lashings of gravy. Don�t forget to help yourself to our selection of sauces and mustards.

Monday to Friday �4.99. Saturday & Sunday �7.99.

If you do not fancy a Carvery meal our Table menu has a comprehensive range of the best pub food dishes. Why not try our 'Homemade Pie of the Day' served with chips or mash, peas and gravy or a selection of freshly prepared vegetables and potatoes from our Carvery.

Red Lion pub, Drayton Norfolk The Red Lion is a listed building situated next to the Post Office in the centre of Drayton, a suburb of Norwich, some four to five miles away from the town centre. Historically it has been a coaching inn since 1768 and today it is attractively adorned with flowers. This comfortable venue is consistently busy, very popular and well known. We welcome a good mixture of diners and people popping in for a drink with friends or alone. Many are regular locals, others just happen to be passing. All our food is freshly prepared using fresh vegetables. The carvery offers a choice of usually three roasts. We have a bar menu and Specials board alongside. The carvery is served in the restaurant but the bar is a useful area when we need it, which is quite often! Be sure to call in when you are next passing and enjoy a meal or sample a quality drink with us. You will be most welcome.
