English Ale Festival in celebration of St George.

Come and take part in our new English Ale Festival, running until the 28th May. As well as a number of English cask ales you can request us to source locally brewed beers! In addition to superb beers we have launched a newsletter with lots of helpful information. You can also take part in our collector scheme, whereby if you purchase 9 festival bitters you will be entered into a free prize draw to win a limited edition glass tankard engraved with the Festival logo.

The Red Lion is a listed building situated next to the Post Office in the centre of Drayton, a suburb of Norwich, some four to five miles away from the town centre. Historically it has been a coaching inn since 1768 and today it is attractively adorned with flowers. This comfortable venue is consistently busy, very popular and well known. We welcome a good mixture of diners and people popping in for a drink with friends or alone. Many are regular locals, others just happen to be passing. All our food is freshly prepared using fresh vegetables. The carvery offers a choice of usually three roasts. We have a bar menu and Specials board alongside. The carvery is served in the restaurant but the bar is a useful area when we need it, which is quite often! Be sure to call in when you are next passing and enjoy a meal or sample a quality drink with us. You will be most welcome.
