The Turnpike re-opened in February 2008 following a refurbishment. With new contemporary decor we have a great new look, come along and see the new look for yourself. The Turnpike is conveniently situated just two minutes from J16 of the M1 in the small rural village of Harpole. We are close to Sixfields Leisure Complex, Saints Rugby Ground and Althorpe House with Silverstone being just a twenty minute drive from here. The town centre of Northampton is only four miles away on dual carriageway. Because of our location, we are both a popular dining establishment and an integral part of the local community. Built in the late 1930's as a pub it had a refurbishment in 2004 to a high standard. The restaurant has 150 covers with booth seating available for more intimate dining. This is a great place to stop over in the travel inn or enjoy a meal or drink in passing. There is also a Function Room available to hire for that special occasion or a meeting.
