Lumbertubs PhotoThe Lumbertubs is situated on the main A43 road out of Northampton in Boothville.  This is a residential area with two industrial estates close by.  At the beginning of the 1900's the building was originally a farmhouse, central to a forest which was gradually cleared and the wood brought here, hence the name!  The present built-up area has only been established since the second world war.  Today the pub is L shaped with one leg being the dining area and the other the bar.  Being very accessible on foot this is very much a community venue with a strong base of local regulars enjoying what we have to offer.  There is an indoor and outside play area to keep the children occupied.  Business people and passers by spend their lunch breaks with us having a choice meal from the main menu.  This can be pre-ordered by phone or fax to be ready on your arrival to save valuable waiting time in a busy day's schedule.  Alternatively there is a good selection of drinks available at the bar.  For those not wishing to miss a major match we show them on the plasma screens.  Come along soon to enjoy a quality meal or drink in sociable surroundings.  You will be made very welcome in this friendly pub.
