Overlooking
the River Nene, The Britannia is
several hundred years old, now situated amongst office based businesses on an
estate. From our patio area you can see the boats travelling along
the river, which can dock outside the pub and everyone is made to feel very
welcome by our helpful team. Whether you come off a boat, visit us
from the offices or travel by car this Chef & Brewer is the place to
enjoy fine dining in pleasant surroundings. Benefiting from a full
refurbishment in May 2007, although the restaurant was extended by 60
covers, we remain a country style pub. Very much food led we
are popular at lunchtime with office workers and in the evening with a
mix of regulars and passers by. For those with a
busy schedule during the day we can take pre-orders. Like all Chef & Brewer pubs
we employ high quality Chefs who have the best facilities to prepare
meals from fresh ingredients. All our dishes are cooked to order
and with additional Specials we have something to suit all ages and
peoples tastes. To fully savour your chosen meal there is a wine
list with a comprehensive selection. You can, of course, finish with
tea and coffee. Customers are always welcome to pop in for
just a drink which can be enjoyed with friends and colleagues.
With Cask Marque accreditation you can be sure your real ale will be
served to perfection at the bar. Come along any time of the year and have a memorable experience.
