Abington PhotoThe Abington is the first pub on the 'Wellie Run' circuit into Northampton, situated on the Wellingborough Road.  It provides a good meeting place for those preparing to go into town as it is just a ten minute walk away, on the outskirts.  Located directly behind the cricket club, we have a good number of cricketers here, along with a a very mixed clientele of all ages.  The pub is popular at lunchtimes and early evening for the food we serve from a main menu and Specials board.  Meals can be eaten anywhere in the pub or out in the beer garden during the summer.  Sport is the main feature of the Abington with five plasma screens to enable customers to see the match from anywhere.  This is a brilliant open plan pub with a lively, welcoming atmosphere.  You will soon understand what we are all about.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
