Photo Coming SoonThe Black Horse is an attractive, quality food house, decorated with flowers outside, located in the small village of Hendy in close proximity to the M4.  Historically the pub is recorded from the early 1800’s and the present pub was built to the front of the old site in 1835 to accommodate the Post Office mail service, owing to problems with the steep road alongside.  Refurbished in December 2005 we have original features such as wooden beams and open fires (gas living flame) at either end of the pub.  Adorning the walls are local historical pictures of the area.  Being food led, the dining area has about 70 covers and is set off to one side of the bar area.  Food is served from a main menu and Specials board with the twice weekly Carvery being very popular.  Add a choice wine or a real ale to make it a meal to remember.  Because of our location we welcome plenty of passers by from Westfield to Swansea. There is always a friendly atmosphere here and you know a warm welcome awaits you.
