The
Willow Bank is a very active and popular real ale
house. We hold plenty of beer festivals throughout the year and
have a wide range of ales served at all times. We have the accolade of
being CAMRA Pub of Excellence 2003. The pub is a large,
traditional Victorian building, refurbished in November 2006. We have retained a traditional
feel and are split into five sections, each with
different style seating. We cater for local regulars and students.
Because we carefully control the clientele the Willow Bank is known as
the safest pub in the area. Near the city centre we are located on all major bus routes.
With the trouble free atmosphere, the staff help create a
female friendly meeting place. Come and try our very popular
Sunday lunch or fun weekly quizzes and at the same time sample the best
pint in the area.
