The Wellington is an attractive village pub located in Bebington,
a two minute walk from Portsun Lake on the Lever Estate. All the buildings
locally are listed and this is a lovely area to stroll around the parks and
gardens. This is a locals pub which enjoys some passing trade. Built
in 1862 it has retained a traditional style and recently refurbished has a
bigger, brighter, open plan look. To one
end there are no TVs or music and relaxing sofas encourage the art of
conversation. The atmosphere is very sociable and welcoming, trouble free
and female friendly. A place to relax over a quiet drink or something to
eat. Alternatively there is sport to be watched on the big plasma screens plus good weekly entertainment with
a well attended quiz nights. Food is served from an extensive main menu and can be eaten anywhere in
the pub or out in the garden if the weather allows. You will be given a
warm welcome when you call in next time you are passing.
