 This is a real community pub with a traditional feel.
The Ship Inn is popular with local people, as well as
walkers and bird watchers visiting the neighbouring Sankey Valley
Park. Our female friendly and trouble free atmosphere helps to create
the right environment for an enjoyable time, either to sample quality pints,
have a bite to eat or watch sport on the big screen. There is an
excellent bar stocked with a fine selection of beers, bottles and a large
range of real ales. We have all the channels to enable us to show
matches at any time. We will even have a plasma
screen outside! Food is available every day from a menu with
plenty of choice. There are meals to suit all ages and tastes.
We welcome families as much as groups with a play area outside in the beer
garden. Whether visiting in the height of summer or the cold of winter
you will always receive a warm welcome at the Ship Inn.
