The Ship Inn is a very busy
pub in a semi rural location, situated just off Junction 7 of the M62.
It is easy to find being close to Whiston hospital. The pub oozes a warm,
cosy atmosphere with candles on the tables and open fires lit during the
winter months. Being mainly an adult destination dining pub we attract
people from quite a distance and are also handy for visitors from the
hospital. Food is all freshly prepared in house and the Specials board
is changed regularly. The menu has something for everyone from steaks of
sirloin, rib eye and fillet to tasty fish dishes and vegetarian meals.
You are welcome to dine throughout the pub, in the restaurant,
bar or in the beer garden during the summer months. With a Premier
Inn next door we serve breakfast every day for their visitors,
passers by and race goers who relish some champagne before leaving for the
meet. For the rugby and general sports enthusiasts we show the big matches plus golf and
football. Other entertainment includes a weekly quiz night and a
monthly live band evening. Be sure to visit us next time you are down
this way. You will be made very welcome.
