Sefton Arms PhotoWelcome to the new look Sefton Arms. Located just down the road from Alderhay Hospital in West Derby.  Since 1887 there has always been a Sefton in the village which also has a small court, a country park and St Mary's church.  This has the only three faced clock in the country, built that way so that workers in the fields could not see the time!  Fully refurbished to a high standard in April 2008, this fresh new look pub can be enjoyed by all the family.  With a contemporary, stylish appearance, the decor is neutral, creating a relaxed environment in which to relax, enjoy a drink, a meal or watch some sports.  Three pubs in one, the 80 cover restaurant features booth seating for intimate dining or small groups.  Why not enjoy a drink alone or with friends, a meal or sharer, or just chill out and listen to music in our chic lounge, and the new sports bar features sport for all on the plasma screens.  High standards of service and food can be expected here, where you can dine until 9pm every night of the week from our great new menu offering a range of dishes or lighter snacks, or choose from the deli boards or sharing platters on offer.  The new weekly carvery can be enjoyed on a Sunday with a choice of roasts and fresh vegetables.  You can dine throughout the pub or outside in the summer time if you wish on the al-fresco dining area.  Amongst our previous awards we won '2005 Kitchen of Excellence Award' run by Greene King and we are always highly placed for other awards / commendations.  The wine list have been improved and freshly brewed coffee is served throughout the day from a new state of the art machine.  The changes have to be seen to be believed and newcomers are made more than welcome.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
