 The
Mount Pleasant, a large pub
situated in a residential area of Southport, offers customers old
and new a good place to enjoy wholesome food and drink. In a
convenient location, being only five minutes drive to the centre or
between ten and fifteen minutes walk, you will find this a very welcoming venue.
We see many different people during the course of the week.
These include many families during the daytime and weekends,
business people at lunchtime and the locals in the evening.
Our regulars create a real community spirit with everyone knowing
each other. Good quality food is served every day from a main
menu with additional Specials to choose from. These can be
complemented with a glass of wine or fine selection of standard
beverages from the bar. The lounge bar is non smoking for
diners to fully enjoy their meal. Food can also be eaten in
the vault bar but smoking is permitted. During the summer Joe gets out the BBQ
so that you can make full use of our beer garden. We are able
to cater for large business meetings or special occasions in our 200
person function room. The pub has a traditional / modern interior which you will find very comfortable. There is
a friendly atmosphere making this an ideal
new pub to visit. All the staff and regulars at the Mount
Pleasant look forward to seeing new faces.
