Griffin PhotoThe Griffin of Bold Heath lies on the Warrington Road from Widnes.  Located between two residential areas, it is a popular family orientated food house, where you can also come along to enjoy a relaxing drink, attracting people from all walks of life.  Fully refurbished in 2006, this very large pub has a sizeable family area to accommodate everyone.  It has a bright but traditional look, low beams and two open fires which are lit in the winter.  A big attraction in the summer is the huge beer garden which has about 50 tables and two play areas, one for the little ones and the other for the older kids. During the week working people come to spend their lunch breaks with us having a meal or a drink with colleagues.  Good pub food is available from a new menu and you can dine anywhere in the pub.  There is a range of wines to complement your meal or, if preferred, real ales and other drinks at the bar.  Many of these are at discounted prices.  If you are new to the area or live close by bring the family along for a relaxed day out. Mike, Lesley, Wendy and their happy, friendly team look forward to helping you enjoy this welcoming pub.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
