We had a major refurbishment
in Summer 2010, with a new,

Blue Anchor is situated to the back
of Aintree Race Course, the perfect meeting place on race days for a drink or
bite to eat. We are a well known family and community pub serving
great food from an extensive menu. We also show Sport, creating a
good atmosphere when there is a local derby game being televised such as
Liverpool v Everton. The restaurant area has a selection of
booth seating of various sizing for couples or small groups. The
booths have a small TV screen which include children's channels and sport. There is an area to enjoy a game of darts or pool and watch
a game on
the plasma screen. With the Hungry Horse concept, we offer fantastic
