Black Horse is to be found in a shopping area of Old Swan.
Inside has a traditional decor with comfy seating all around. Outside
there is crown green bowling to be enjoyed either by taking part in one of
the six teams or just watching from the sidelines. During the week
shoppers and local business people in the area call in for their lunch time
meal or a drink with colleagues. At other times it is more of a
community locals bar and at weekends it becomes part of the circuit of eight
pubs in the area. Sport is shown on the big screens and there is a pool
table and darts board for the more active. Meals are served from a
main menu with the food offer being a particular favourite. Your meal
can be eaten anywhere in the pub or out in the garden during the summer.
This is a genuinely trouble free pub welcoming all ages from families with
young children upwards. The staff are a well established team of some
twenty five years experience in some cases and they add a relaxed dimension
