The
Bear & Staff is to be found in the suburban village of Gateacre, on
the outskirts of Liverpool. Outside there is a large beer garden where
your meal can be enjoyed al fresco if the weather permits. Inside this
Chef & Brewer has open fires, exposed beams and nooks and crannies which
give it a lovely cosy feel to enjoy a meal or a tasty pint. Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ high
quality Chefs who have superb kitchen facilities. The food can be chosen
from a main menu or unique Specials boards which allow our Chefs to show
their flair! You will be served meals which have been prepared from the
freshest of ingredients and cooked to order. To complement your meal there
is an extensive choice of quality wines or real ales and other drinks are
available at the bar. Our ales are of particularly high standard as
the landlord has been accredited 'Cellar Mans Reserve'. With a weekly quiz and monthly live music this
is definitely a pub to be tried. You are sure to come again soon!
