Photo Coming SoonThe Avenue in Birkenhead is directly opposite the rugby ground, attracting coach loads of spectators prior to a match.  In a previous life this pub used to be a picture house and lies a few minutes from the town centre in a residential area.  With bright colours inside and out there are two raised levels in the open plan design.  For Sport enthusiasts there is a big screen and several TVs positioned to enable viewing from anywhere in the pub.  Meals are served from a main menu with the food offer being a particular favourite.  There is a good base of regular locals and there is never any trouble.  This is a popular meeting place at weekends and families also enjoy the friendly ambiance.  With good food, good sport and a range of other entertainment including live music and a weekly quiz, this is a pub to be tried very soon.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
