 The Wellow can be easily found on the sea front at Cleethorpes
and since our refurbishment in 2010 we are a family friendly Hungry Horse
venue. Built in the
1970s the place is decorated with hanging baskets, tubs and barrels planted
up with flowers to disguise its square appearance. There is a large
patio with 50 tables and a play area where the children can enjoy the
swings, slide and climbing frame whilst the grownups chill out in the
sunshine. Inside is open plan and bright with a large family dining
area and a separate Sports bar. There are sea views from the front of
the pub along with holiday camps, a boating lake and sea bowling alley
nearby. This should be a seasonal venue which is busy in summer and
quiet in winter, but, because of our large regular and local clientele,
visitors arriving at any time of the year would find it difficult to notice
a difference! Visiting Cleethorpes? Come and stay in our clean,
comfortable accommodation with considerate, friendly staff to complete a
