The
Pied Calf is situated in the heart of Spalding, a town cut off by
the river. Originally a Coaching Inn the building dates back to the
early 1700s when it was one of the main stops on the London to Lincoln run.
Today it is a great community pub which is unspoilt by bright lights and
popular for food, drink and Sport. Food is available from a varied menu
and can be eaten anywhere in the pub. There is a big screen, 42"
plasma and three other TVs to show all major matches as they are played.
Next time you are in the area, come and
try out this traditional but up to the minute pub for yourself. You
will be given a warm welcome.
