 The Old Black Lion is situated in the Fenland village of
Gedney, Lincolnshire, adjacent to the busy A17, a main route from the North and
Midlands to the Norfolk coastal resorts and ports. Dating from the
1750's, this picturesque pub has an enviable reputation, especially for food. We serve mainly
traditional British favourites with
a homely Tuscan influence. If at all possible
everything, from the pate to the pies, is
homemade by our chef and sourced using local
suppliers. This venue was refurbished in early 2011.
The interior is
warm and traditional, with a plum and red colour
scheme, beamed ceilings and a wood-burning fire.
Together with the lovely outside garden and patio area, the Old Black Lion is well worth a visit! |
