Situated next to the
Lakeside Retail Park and a new housing development,
The Anchor Beefeater and
Premier Inn is on the outskirts of Scunthorpe. Purpose built as a pub
in 1992 we underwent a major redevelopment in 2007, when we were converted
to a Beefeater pub / restaurant. The pub was named the Anchor Inn as it
is situated on the site of the Anchor village, which was the
village for the steelworks. Today, having a much improved food offering, people come
from all over to enjoy a very pleasant dining experience. Most of our custom is from
diners, either for our breakfast, lunch or evening meal. We are
popular because of our wide choice of menus which can be tried in a relaxed
environment. To accompany your meal we have a wide selection of drinks
from a fine wine to a quality pint of cask ale.
Whether you are here on business or bringing your family for an
evening out, you will be guaranteed a warm welcome at the Anchor Beefeater.
