Located on the A46 at a roundabout The Gynsills is a popular food house with locals and passers by alike. We attract local regulars from the nearby Glenfield area of Leicester and business people who stay the night at the Premier Inn or who are just passing through. Originally an old manor house this is a large pub which has retained its traditional appearance with wooden furniture, sofas and chairs. Our leather sofas in the bar area are soon taken by groups coming for a chat with friends. Lunchtimes are particularly popular as food is served from a wide ranging menu. We are well known for our pub food which is suitable for all ages and tastes. Served all day you can dine anywhere in the pub as well as eating in the 80 to 90 seater restaurant. We have a superb choice of all kinds of refreshments to complement your meal. Seeing locals in the evening we are also a popular venue for families. Outside there are two large beer gardens, one leading to a nature pond with ducks and geese. Come for a meal, drink or enjoy our monthly jazz and you will always receive a warm welcome.
