 The Castle
Hotel, in the rural village of Kirby Muxloe, is within easy
access of Junction 21A of the M1 North and Alton Towers theme park is
close by. This is a lovely area with the village having local
shops and, of course, the Castle which is in the background of our hotel.
The pub dates back to the 1630's when it was the castle's farmhouse.
We were once the largest employer of local people with presses producing
excellent Leicestershire cheese. Now we are part of the Chef &
Brewer estate offering you a superb destination food house with very
good accommodation. The restaurant has retained its olde worlde
charm with open fires, candlelit dining, nooks and crannies. As
well as our excellent main menu with dishes to suit the whole family we
have a great variety of regular changing house specials shown on
chalkboard menus. Like all Chef & Brewer pubs we employ the best
Chefs in the area who prepare your meal from the freshest of
ingredients. To enjoy the summer we have a large garden which
seats about a hundred people
and a patio area which is 'the' perfect place for al fresco dining.

As well as comfortable en-suite rooms we have the ability to hold civil
