 Ye Olde Cock
is a large community pub with a friendly welcoming atmosphere only six
miles from Manchester. Having had a complete makeover in July 2005
this fairly open plan pub is now decorated in modern colours to give a
brighter, more airy atmosphere. To make your visit as comfortable
as possible we have a range of sofas, settees, chairs and tables.
Quality pub food is available every day from a varied main menu and with
an accompanying selection of wines to choose from your dining experience
will always be a happy one. Our bar is stocked with the best
lagers, beers and real ales available, served to you by our friendly
team of staff. The pub has a conservatory which can be closed off
for large gatherings. We cater for a wide mix of clientele with
the 'L' shaped bar, lounge area or snug to choose from to spend your time.
Only three minutes walk from the Halls of Residence we are popular with
students as well as locals of all ages and of course many passers by.
