Situated
on the A58 Bury to Bolton road, only one mile from the town centre, you will
find the very popular Wellington.
Fully refurbished in April 2008, the look is now modern and stylish with
warm neutral tones of browns, chocolate, cream and a hint of orange, as well
as big print wallpaper. Blue strip lighting on the ceiling looks great
when the lights go down over the weekend. The place has been opened up
and raised areas lowered to create a big open plan venue, which is more
orientated towards dining. Our menu offers a range of dishes from
lighter bites such as wraps and jacket potatoes to hearty main meals
including favourites including steak and ale pie or fish and chips.
Sports fans, you can still enjoy your favourite match, shown on the three
plasma screens. We offer high standards of service in pleasant
surroundings, The Wellington is a quality venue, with something for
everyone.
