 The Washington is conveniently located near the railway and bus stations in
Blackpool. This old building used to be a couple of guest houses which
have been extended over the years. It is a modern style pub which was
refurbished in October 2007 with newly re-upholstered furniture, new decor &
a great new carvery. Our clientele cover the
complete age spectrum and we have a good base of local regulars. There
is now a family area where families with children can enjoy a meal. Food
is served from an extensive main menu with a range of wines to complement
your meal or a selection of real ales if preferred. The food offer
during the week is particularly popular. A traditional carvery is now
available every day, so you can enjoy a delicious roast any day of the week. At weekends a younger crowd
often start their night out here before moving on to the clubs later.
There is generally a good, friendly atmosphere here and we seem to have the
right level of sound. Not too loud and not too quiet. During the
Season door staff help maintain the trouble free status of this female
